Ellie Raye's 1st BooBoo

Well Ellie feel this afternoon and hit her head on french door in the family room. It was pretty bad at first but, she seemed to calm down pretty well. She likes to stand up against the door and put her mouth on the glass. She just slipped and bumped her forehead. It was so sad that I even cried with her. We got her frog teething ring and iced it for as long as she allowed me. She then decided to chew on her teething ring. I called her doctor and she said just to watch over her. If she vomited or passed out to take her to the emergency room asap. She did neither and played and ate very well this evening! If you look closely at these pictures its on the left side of her forehead. These pictures don't really do the big goose bump justice.

These next few pictures are from last night at my Dad's house.

Crazy Nanny & Papaw's House!

Ellie spent the night with Nanny and Papaw Benson last night. Mommy and Daddy went to dinner and a movie with their friends! We needed a baby free night! Thanks Nanny and Papaw! After church today we went back over to Nanny and Papaws for lunch. Ellie showed us how she played with Chanse and it was so cute!

Raye Raye waving HI! Ellie playing with Chanse. Nanny has done really well with gradually letting Chanse be around Ellie and he does GREAT now. He lets Ellie climb all over him, pull his face and play with him. He mostly ignores her until El comes to him to play. He's a big sweetheart with her! She kept laying her head on him and saying AWWWWWWWW! He's a good boy!She eventually pulled it off the table. Watching Daddy play the Wii. She loves to watch it.

Ellie Raye's 1st New Years Eve Party!

John, Ellie & I spent our New Years Eve night at our friend Miranda's sisters house. We were really excited to see Miranda, her husband Aaron and their daughter Hannah. Hannah is 14 months. You will see that their isn't much of a size difference in the two girls. Ellie loved Hannah. She really had a good time playing with her. Ellie kept trying to touch Hannah's face to see if she was real. It was so cute to see them play. We really wish that Aaron, Miranda and Hannah lived close so we could spend more time together. We may have to plan a trip to New York so we can visit! :) It was all so great getting to meet Miranda's sister Morgan's family and their friends. They all made us feel very welcome and we had a BLAST! It was great getting to spend Ellie Raye's 1st New Years with her!

Hannah is actually 5 months older than Hannah. Hannah's Mommy Miranda and I joke around and say Hannah is the midget and Ellie's the giant! :)Ellie kept wanting to touch Hannah's face.
