Gosh, we have been staying BUSY lately. I am ready for summer vacation from work! I can't wait to spend time with Ellie this summer. We are going to have a great time enjoying our yard and outdoor toys. We will also spend a ton of time at MawMaw and PawPaw Lewis' house swimming! Ellie's got all her swimming attire and I even got my maternity bathing suit. I think mine and PawPaw's goal is to have her swimming this year! I don't think it will be to hard because she loved the water last summer!

John is doing great and enjoying his job a lot right now. It's getting to be that busy time of the year for farmers!

Ellie is asking "what's that?" non-stop!!!! She wants to know what everything is. She even asks "what's that?" when she meets new people. She is making animal noises and saying new words all the time! She said "tractor" last night! Not all of her words are completely clear but you know what she's saying. I guess this is Mommas payback for how much I talked when I was little! She has got walking down with no problems now! She's off and going all the time! Her other new thing is singing and dancing. She's always been so interested in music but now that she's so mobile she will boogie! We always tell her she's the next Taylor Swift, haha! She loves to listen to Lady Antebellum though! We are having a blast with her right now, I wish we could freeze her age!

Here are some pictures from tonight! We visited a farmer and got her new to us Castle!

PawPaw found a Little Tikes Castle at a consignment store in New Castle for a great price in great condition! We jumped on getting this gender neutral play castle. Our little princess and prince on the way will get a lot of good out of this play castle!
Aw!
So adorable! She loves her castle!
She is starting to enjoy going down slides more!
Her favorite part of the castle is the door so far!
Little stinker, I know she will soon learn you can lock the door! I have to stand on my tip-toes to be able to reach in and unlock it too! Hopefully she doesn't figure that much out!
Yay! We got the castle home!
We went to a farmers house this evening and Raye loved the Duckies and Bulls!
I think in the future we will have end up with a farm!

We found her a little watering can at Target on Saturday! We were pretty excited because she has been pretty interested in mine lately. I taught her how to use it this evening. She loved it!

Brody Joseph Alan Benson

IT'S A BOY!
We went to the doctor this am and got to see our baby boy Brody Joseph Alan Benson! He is doing great! His heart and brain are perfect! We have been so blessed! He weighs 9 oz. and we didn't get his length because he was curled up most of the ultra sound! He was a little shy with showing us his male parts at first. We did get a good picture of them though!

Here is Brody!

Raye's 1st Wagon Ride to the Creek!

We had a GREAT night tonight! We took Ellie on her 1st wagon ride, and what made it even better is we went down to the creek! When we got down to the creek Ellie threw rocks in. I used to do this all the time when I was younger. It was a great memory that I had from my childhood to do with Ellie! After going down to the creek and back we went to the Lilac bush and Ellie picked herself a flower. This bush is very special to us, it's where all of our (my Gramps, Grams and Dads) previous dogs are buried! It’s so nice to reminisce and share all these special memories I have of our home with John and Ellie as we make new ones of our own! We love living in the country and are thrilled to raise Ellie and our new baby here! Enjoy some pictures from our adventures this eveing!
