Holland
Sorry to leave a lot of you hanging on how Holland is doing. He actually didn't have surgery today. He will have surgery tomorrow and be home on Thursday. The vet had to do an emergency c-section. We totally understand where the vet was coming from in delaying Hollands surgery. They have had him medicated so he's not in any pain at all. I had initially told you that the vet has done this procedure 6 times. I was wrong it's been done twice, once on a cat and once on a dog. So this is a big surgery and they need to be as ready as possible and we didn't want Holland's surgery rushed today and neither did they! The vet who initially took Holland in is the second vet at the office Nathan Rich and his Dad Rob Rich is the main vet at the office. Rob will be doing the surgery with the help of Nathan. We are looking forward to getting a phone call tomorrow afternoon hearing Holland's surgery went good and we can pick him up Thursday morning.
Brody
In other news I went to the doctor today for Brody. His heart rate was 142. He has been moving around like crazy lately. Sometimes it feels like he's going to bust out. He will ball himself up and push hard under my right ribs. It's not very comfortable! We have a 3D ultrasound done tomorrow morning. I will post pictures tomorrow that we get!
