1 Week Old!!!!

I can't believe our baby girl is already a week old! I know people have told me time flies by but, geez it really does!!!! Yesterday Great Grandma Bonnie & Great Aunt Tina came by to meet Miss. Ellie. We then made our first outing to Wal-Mart. Then Uncle Mikey and Aunt Casey came over and we grilled out. She hadn't got to meet Aunt Casey yet because she was sick. She for sure has them both wrapped around her finger especially her Uncle Mikey! Today we went to church and she did great! She slept during the whole service. We have such an amazing baby! We then went to Nanny and Papaw Bensons house for lunch. Daddy got on the webcam so Uncle Jimmy who lives in Missouri could see Ellie. She was very attentive and bright eyed when John did it with her. We then came home and Mommy got some well deserved rest time!!!! We have been on the go alot it seems like. We are ready for this week to slow down some!

Miss.Ellie is still doing great! Great Grams Lewis came over on Thursday and Nanny Benson came over yesterday to help out. She really enjoyed spending time with them. Then lastnight Papaw Benson came home with Daddy from work and we had dinner with Nanny & Papaw! Uncle Mikey and Aunt Casey are coming over tonight. We might try to go to church tomorrow but we haven't decided yet! Enjoy some new pics.

We are HOME!!!

The pics below are from right before we left the hospital Tuesday night until earlier this afternoon. We had problems with our internet yesterday. Sorry I wasn't able to get them up sooner! Gotta LOVE Comcast! We went to the Dr. today and Ellie weighs 7lbs 8oz and was 20.5in!!!!! The Dr. was sooo impressed she grew and inch and a half and when we were discharged the other night she weighed 7lbs 3oz. She said that her growth was really great and not usual!!! We were sooo excited! We don't have to take her back until April 15th! We have been pretty busy. Ellie loves to eat and sleep! She is doing great with her schedule. We are very lucky to have such a PERFECT baby girl!!!!!!

We are waiting to go home and it seems like today has gone soooooo slow! Ellie has had such a good day! Her very 1st friend Ava came to see her today! Ava loved Ellie and she loved Ava too! She has decided that she loves to sit in her boppy and cuddle with her blankie Auntie Em, Uncle Jimmy and her cousins Emerson & Stella got for her! She also got her very first bracelet from Auntie B yesterday. She has it on in a picture towards the end. It has pink beads with a silver heart! Uncle Jay Jay came and cuddled with Ellie today! She has soooo many people wrapped around her finger already! All of her grandparents have been soooo amazing! They have gotten her soooo much stuff and came to see her alot! She's only 2 days old and they all have her spoiled rotten! We are so thankful that Ellie is going to have soooo many AWESOME people be a part of her life! She got a green carnation today. I took a picture of it with her! We didn't have any St.Patty's day clothes because we didn't know she would be here for sure this early. We did put a green barrett in her hair for awhile though. I hope she doesn't lose all of her beautiful dark hair! It's gonna be fun to play with! Her eyes are a very light gray so they may be blue. On the Lewis side everyone has beautiful blue eyes but me! I thought for sure that she would have big brown eyes!!!! We will see though. Well we will try to update again soon. For now we are going to watch the clock tick!!!!
