Day 3

Yay, Ellie passed her hearing test this morning! We are sooo excited. We should be getting to leave tonight after her 48hr. checks. So we won't get home till probably 9pm or so. We are very excited to take her home to meet her brother and sister (Duke and Lola)! It's going to be interesting to see how they all get along! The pics. below are before we went to bed lastnight. Daddy and his minnie me Ellie! She even watched wrestling lastnight. :) I will try to post more pics through the day! Enjoy!!!!

Daddy was going to watch wrestling but he fell asleep. It was sooo adorable because Ellie laid wide eyed awake and just watched wrestling. She was able to fill him in this morning. I guess she knew she wouldn't have an option on wether she would like wrestling or not. Daddy would make her like it eventually :)

bedtime!

Well all of our visitors were gone by 8:00 tonight. We had a pretty long day. I ended up having a spinal leak from my epidural. So they had to do the epidural over but instead of injecting pain medicine they injected my blood. It was pretty painful. My back hurts really bad so they have me on pain meds now.. We got Ellie's pics taken today. We will have them back in 10 days!

As for yesterday I haven't updated you all on it yet! Well we were at church and the service had just ended. I went the restroom and all was fine. I walked out and was in the big open foyer of our church. My water just broke. It was soooo embarrassing because service had just let out. John couldn't understand what I was telling him because he was so far away. So he eventually got it. We came strait to the hospital. We got here at about 11:30 am. I had patocin at about 1pm then they did my epidural at 5pm. I pushed with a nurse after my epidural for like 30 min. then I pushed with our amazing Dr.Benson for like 15 min. maximum!!!! She was such an awesome Dr. and made things go great. Our nurses have been GREAT too! It wasn't that bad considering I was only here for like 8 hrs and had our beautiful baby girl. I was sooooo scared I was going to be here for 24hrs before I had her. I was still at 1.5cm-2cm when we got here dialated so I went very fast.

Ellie is doing awesome. We have been so blessed. John and I have been praying for a perfect delivery and baby and we got it! God has been so good to us! She is soooo lazy :) She wants to sleep ALL the time. We are on 3-4 hr feedings. She is doing great and all the nurses are impressed with how well she's breastfeeding. She likes to eat like her Daddy! She is such a happy baby! At first she was Daddys little minnie me but she is starting to get some of my looks I think. She is just sooo perfect and adorable!

Here is our beautiful baby girl! She was born at 7:14 p.m. yesterday Sunday, March 15th! My water broke at church around 11 a.m. and we were off to the hospital. We are all doing great. We will update you with details and more pictures later on!!!!

No inducing tomorrow!

Well I just got home from the Dr. and Ellie is on her own agenda. I'm still at 1.5-2cm. We go back next Wednesday at 9:30 to see if i'm 3cm. If I am they will induce me next Thursday the 19th. My actual due date is the 20th. They told us that they won't let me go over the 26th so that's good. We were just really excited and it was disappointing! I know that she will get here when she's supposed to though! Two weeks at the most seems like forever though when your miserable! If anything should happen between now and next Wednesday we will update you all! Have a great rest of the week and weekend!

38 weeks!

Well we went to the Dr. today and I am 1.5-2cm dilated. I am pretty much miserable at this point too. I can barely walk or do anything. I feel so bad for previously making fun of women who waddle when they are pregnant because you just can't help it...lol! We go to the Dr. again next Wednesday and if I am at 3 cm which the Dr. said I should be they will induce me on Thursday! I am supper excited. John and I can't believe we are going to be able to meet our baby girl Ellie Raye in almost a week. We are sooo excited. These past few weeks have been hard on us. John has been amazing and I don't know what I would have done without him. He's such an amazing and supportive husband. Their had been some mornings when I was still working that he would text me and tell me that he hoped I would feel good that day and he prayed for me before he left for work. I know he really loves me too because he ties my shoes for me :) The best thing has been us laying in bed and John being able to feel her move around before we go to sleep! Sorry i'm getting sappy and emotional...it's okay though i'm pregnant...lol! I will update you all on Wednesday after we go to the Dr.! If we have her before then we will try to get pictures up as soon as we can!

Lola and her diet!

Well we found out over the weekend that Miss. Lola has to be put on a diet. This dog is very high maintenance. She has ear spray and allergy medicine and now she needs to diet plus exercise. As you can see in the picture that whenever we eat they just sit and give us sad faces. It's to hard not to feed them. So John gave in and Lola and Duke got some KFC...haha! We bought their diet dog food and they refused to eat it until this morning.

Over the weekend John and I went to see the movie Fireproof at church with Brooke and Jason. It was an amazing movie!! I think any married or engaged couple should watch it! We had also done a 4 series sermon at church over concepts in the movie. Our minister Paul did a great job with that series!!!!! We did our regular ritual Sunday went to church and went to John's parents house for lunch. My mother-in-law and I snuck off to Warm Glow after lunch :)! We then stopped by John's grandparents house, went to the grocery and came home. When we got home I started to feel awful. I am so ready for Ellie to come!
