22 days to go!

Well we went to the Dr. today. I haven't dilated any yet but I am VERY thin so that's a good sign!!!! I am officially home now and not able to go back to work. My ligament pains and exhaustion is just to much on Ellie and I. Plus I am having really bad swelling. I am pretty emotional about it all. I don't want to leave my kids at school. I guess I thought I would work until I had her in a perfect scenario! Well that's not what God & Ellie has in store for me. I am very thankful I haven't had to be put on bed rest or had any issues with my thyroid. Even though I am considered high risk this pregnancy has been so blessed with no issues so far! We go to the Dr. again next Friday at 9:15.... I will be 38 weeks then!!! :)

Ellie's room is FINISHED!!! 26 days to go!!

Well Daddy and I finished Ellie's room today! I am soooooo glad it's done. It has been a job! All we need is a baby to use it now! Brooke and I went to Hobby Lobby lastnight and found the butterflies and hanging picture to finish the wall I had left to do. So when John and I got home from church and visiting family we finished her room.

I didn't get any pictures from the weekend but Friday night we went to Applebee's and the Casino in Anderson. We had a good time but didn't win any money besides me coming out $4 ahead...lol! Brooke won pretty big though! We met up with Brooke and Jason in Muncie on Saturday. Me and Brooke went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic and John and Jason did their thing. We then went shopping and did Brooke's wedding registry at Kohl's. Jason was supposed to go but him and John found something better to do. Go to B Dubbs...we weren't to shocked! If you look close in the pictures you can see Ellie's bikini hanging from her dresser drawer! I also got matching flip-flops and a sun hat!!! John didn't like the bikini but he wasn't there to object :) Hope you all had a great weekend! Have a good week now!

29 days to go!

We went to the doctor today. We found out that we will probably have another ultasound in 2 weeks. I may be induced depending on what we find out. This means Ellie could come the 2nd week of March. So she would just be about a week early. This is if she doesn't come any sooner! Let me tell you though I am ready to go into labor right now!!!!!! We will go to the doctor again next Thursday. If we find out any new interesting news I will update you all. We were going to try and go to Michigan this weekend but the doctor was afraid I would go into labor. John's Grandpa DiCarlo is having heart problems and is having surgery. We would appreciate all your prayers for him to get well!!! I should have some fun pictures from the weekend to post because we are celebrating my bestfriend Brooke/Auntie B's 22nd birthday tomorrow night! Hope you are all doing well! Michael & Casey are ENGAGED!!!!

We just got very exciting news!!!!! My best guy friend Michael and his girlfriend Casey are engaged! I am sooo excited for them! John and I have been very close friends with Michael and Casey since my senior year of high school! They have been together/dating FOREVER (this December will be 7 years I think?)!!! All I can say is it's about time Michael! :) We love you both and we are sooo happy for you!

Happy 4th Birthday Dukie!!!

Master Duke turned 4 in people years and 28 in doggie years today!! He is such a good dog! He has kept me alot of company through the years especially when I lived in Muncie! He's my first official dog I got on my own. Those of you who know him know he's a Mommies boy too! He love's to watch t.v. and go to Grams Lewis' house. Toto which was my Gramps dog is his bestfriend! John loves to tease him and say "do you wanna go see Grandma and Toto?" he will get all excited and think he's going to see them!!!! It's funny because sometimes he likes John and sometimes he doesn't! :) I remember when John picked out his name of course he's named after a basketball team. He has a great personality and thinks he's human! Hope you enjoy a picture of Dukie from the first day I got him!

40 Days to go!

Thank you to everyone who came to my shower yesterday! It was a great shower and I appreciate all the great gifts! Thank you to my Mom & Aunt Amy for throwing my shower! Things have been pretty crazy lately! We have 5 weeks left and I am soooo glad. I am having bad round ligament pains in the center of my uterus due to Ellie's size. We had to go to the hospital last Wednesday. It was kind of scary but everything was okay. We have our last 2 week check up next week then we are on week visits. We aren't sure if Ellie is going to come early. She will get here when she gets here or when the doctors want her here. I am hoping for March 7th though because that was my Granny Lee's birthday! Other than feeling HUGE and tired all the time things are great though! I never thought I would go to bed at 7! We have Ellie's bag for the hospital packed and I think I kind of over did her packing by a lot! :) She will be stylin everyday at the hospital! Duke and Lola are getting pretty curious of all the stuff in the nursery! One of my friends suggested bringing home something she has had on and letting the dogs have it the day before she comes home. We are hoping this will help our little children dogs with the big change :)!!!!! I am working and going to keep doing so until I pop. My kids all love Ms. Sarah being pregnant. They pretend they are pregnant and ask me the funniest things you could ever think of! One of my little boys is even having "mouses" because the girls informed him boys can't have babies!
