Hey everyone sorry I haven't updated you with the ultrasound dvd yet. I wasn't able to save it on my lap top. We are going to try and show it to everyone we possibly can with the holidays coming and seeing most of you. If you want a copy let me know I have 25 dvd's to make copies for people!

IT"S A GIRL!!!!!!!

We are very excited to let you all know we are having a baby girl! She's still said to be due March.20th! She's doing great! She weighs 12 oz. and her heart rate is 156 BPM. The ultra sound tech said she is a longer than usual. She also has her Momma's round head :) We go again to the doctor on Nov.13th! Hope everyone is having a great week!!

great weekend!

Well we had a great weekend! Friday night we went to Olive Garden with all of our friends. We had a great time! We went to Target and got our baby bath tub, boppy and some toys.

We then went and saw the movie SAW 5 which was awesome! Saturday we had our friends over and all chipped in food to grill out. We then all played mario kart on the game cube it was fun and hillarious. Today we went to my Moms to celebrate mine and her birthdays. Then we went by my Dads for a little bit. Then met my Grams for dinner at Applebee's! We had a good weekend. Now the week starts tomorrow with my new job and getting to find out what the baby is Wednesday! Only 3 days, we are ecstatic to find out if the baby is a Tony or Ellie!!!!

Well I found out today that I got a teaching position with Head Start in Greenfield. This is really good and exciting news for John and I! Hope everyone's week is going great!

I just wanted to put a little post on here that I have officially started to feel the baby moving. It was weird because the doctor asked us last week if I had felt anything yet. I told him I didn't know for sure but now I now I do feel the baby for sure. It's weird because I can feel not just know their's a little baby inside of me. Now we are just excited to find out what the baby is! Only 9 days!!!

18 weeks

Well today we went to the doctor. Everything went great! The babies heart rate was 158. They are going to do our ultrasound on Oct.29th at 2:00p.m. to let us know what sex the baby is. It's three days after my Birthday so Happy Birthday to me, best present I could have got! We are really excited! I read online and I have heard from a few friends to drink a little Mountain Dew and eat candy before the appointment so the babies moving around good. We will get pictures and a DVD of the ultrasound too. I know you can post videos on her but i'm not sure how to do it but I definitley will find out for all you living far! We will also have our 3-D ultrasound at 28 weeks so thats going to be pretty awesome too! The doctor told us today that by 20 weeks which is in 2 weeks my uterus should be 1 cm above my belly button. That's just amazing to me! We also got literature on cystic fibrosis testing and birth defect screenings. John and I have decided that these tests just aren't for us. I think that's all I really have to update on the baby. Besides my belly getting huge I have no complaints!
We are staying very busy with work. We are finding time with friends and family every weekend and it's been great!

Fall is here!

Well life seems to be going to quickly it seems lately. I can't believe it's almost Halloween. I love the fall and winter so it excited me! I love that we are having cooler weather in Indiana too. I can't imagine being pregnant during the summer I hate hot weather!

We didn't get to go to the Diamond Reo concert on Saturday because they sold out of tickets but you could pretty much hear it all around town. This past weekend we spent mainly with all of our friends and then John's parents Sunday after church! Friday me and Brooke hung out and went over all her wedding ideas. John and Jason did their manly things. Saturday afternoon Brooke and I went wedding and baby shopping in Indy. Then Saturday night we went to eat with Dane and then we all went to Michael's to watch the UFC fights. Sunday we went to church and then John's parents for lunch his Mom made me yummy pasta!!! Then my mother in law and I snuck off to Warm Glow :)

I am officialy in maternity clothes now. I have been able to find alot of cute clothes too. It really surprised me! Well we have decided if we have a boy/Tony that we are going with teal & brown Graco gear and doing the room in sports as shown below. If we have a girl/Ellie we are going with pink and brown Graco gear and doing the room in the colors as shown below. At first I wanted to do the boys room in teal and brown but John of course liked the sports. When Brooke and I went to Indy Saturday we stoped into Baby's R Us and I saw the boys bedding with a cherry wood bed (which is the color we are getting) I fell in love with this bedding!!! We will hopefully be able to let you all know what we are having next Thursday so keep your fingers crossed for us :) If not I will update you with how our appointment goes! CONGRATS Brooke & Jason!!!!!

Well I just found out the best news! My bestfriend Brooke and John's bestfriend Jason are getting married!!!! We are soooo happy and excited for them! They have been together for about 5 years like John and I. We are soooooo excited and happy for them! Congrats and we love you Brooke and Jason!

16 weeks/ 4 months!!!!

Well life has been pretty busy for John and I with work and life in general. I am feeling great! The only issue i've had lately is headaches and they are awful when I have them. We are very anxious to go back to the doctor in 2 weeks and hopefully find out what we are having so we can start buying and doing more for the baby. John and I have been DVRing A Baby Story and watching it of an evening to help get us a little ready for the birthing process. We are going to take prenatal classes at the hospital in January. It covers pretty much everything we will need to know about the delivery. We have already decided if I am fortunate enough to have a natural birth I am not doing the epidural. We have our baby furniture and bedding picked out. We have decided we aren't going to paint the nursery here in the townhouse since we are moving to Mooreland in June. We have some cool ideas for the walls here though. We are planning on going to the Diamond Reo concert here in New Castle this weekend so I will post some pictures from it this weekend. Where Baby Tony or Ellie is at right now being 16 weeks or 4 monthsHow your baby's growing:At 4 1/2 inches long (head to bottom) and 3 1/2 ounces, your baby is about the size of an avocado. In the next three weeks, she'll go through a tremendous growth spurt, though, doubling her weight and adding inches to her length. Her lower limbs are much more developed now. Her head is more erect than it has been, and her eyes have moved toward the front of her head. Your baby's ears are close to their final position, too. Some of her more advanced body systems are working, including her circulatory system and urinary tract. Her heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, circulating her total blood volume through her body many times. (By the end of your pregnancy, this will increase to about 190 quarts.) The patterning of her scalp has begun, though her hair isn't recognizable yet. Although closed, her eyes are moving (slowly), and she's even started growing toenails. *Pretty exciting and so AMAZING!
